Summer Clothing Haul

Hello all! I'm back with a post featuring some of my favorite pieces of clothing I've bought within the last couple weeks. I left out a few pieces because it would take an hour to finish photographing every outfit. These pieces are from Banana Republic, LOFT, Birkenstock, Steve Madden, and Kate Spade. I tried to avoid buying anything at full price because I have to prepare my bank account for the impending doom that is college shopping. Speaking of which, I move back into college in exactly a month so there will be a change of scenery.

I turn twenty in a little less than a week and it is hard to believe that I made it through two whole decades. Ethan and I are planning some day trips next week to celebrate my birthday. I'm very excited about our trips and I can't thank him enough for always being willing to go on spontaneous trips with me. I'll be back soon with another post about all of the places we're going.

I'm going to try to link the clothing items that I bought below.

With love,

Summer Sales

Blouse- Banana Republic
Shorts- Gap
Sandals- Birkenstock

Hello all! I'm coming back to you with a post including some of my most recent purchases. I have bought quite a lot of clothes recently from places that I never shop at because of their summer sales. Like every college student, I'm constantly on a budget so I hardly ever buy quality items for myself. Some of the stores I never get to shop at because of their less affordable prices have been having their summer sales over the last couple weeks. I stopped by a Gap in Charleston and was able to find some of my favorite pieces in my closet. They were having a good sale so I splurged a bit. When Ethan and I returned home from Charleston, we went shopping the next day in hopes of finding some good items. I picked up these Birkenstocks and some awesome pieces from Banana Republic during their 4th of July Weekend Sale.

I purchased some more goodies during a flash sale on Loft and I'm super excited for those items to come in. All of the pieces I've been purchasing have been under $40 and I'm constantly on the hunt for some more summer sales. I may post a haul of everything I purchased soon.

That's all for today! I should be back soon with another post.

WIth love,

When In Charleston

Hello all! Ethan and I returned home from vacation on Thursday but I haven't been able to sit down and write a blog post about our trip. We left out Tuesday morning and toured Fort Sumter and went on a ghost tour of the USS Yorktown. We highly recommend this ghost tour because you get an up-close glimpse of all of the boat.

On Wednesday, we woke up and headed downtown to find a place to eat breakfast and do a little shopping. We stopped at this crepe restaurant called Breizh pan Crepes. The crepes there were fantastic and we knew that we would have to come back before we left Charleston. Our next stop was the Charleston City Market which was too crowded to even enjoy. We headed out to the Brown Dog Deli for lunch and enjoyed being able to get out of the heat for a bit. After that, we returned to our Airbnb and headed down to Folley Beach. We spent a couple hours there but left out early due to a storm.

On Thursday, we went back to Breizh pan Crepes to try some of their sweet crepes which were amazing! After that, we headed to the Charleston Museum and the Joseph Manigault House to do some last minute touring before leaving Charleston. After enjoying some greek food, we went back to the Kate Spade store on King Street for me to do some last minute shopping.

Overall, our trip was great! Our Airbnb was nice and we really enjoyed how well decorated it was. We have even made the decision to travel back to Charleston in December in order for us to relax and enjoy the place without touring every historical structure in site. If you would like to catch up on all of the things we did and see a couple videos of where we stayed, you can check out my Instagram here.

As always, I'll be back in (hopefully) a week with a new post. I hope everyone has a good and safe 4th of July!

With love,

Carmen xx
